Looks like I missed a good show.

I wish more F-86s would show up at airshows in the Northeast. Or just make a few more appearance.
I’ve seen far too few at airshows, generally they have only been on final.

Heres a neat story related to Quonset's airshow.

I was getting ready to leave work at about 3:00 today and a Pilot walked by me and I thought I recognized him. He turned around and I said Holy Crap! It was Jimmy Ryan. 10 years ago I worked with Jim in the line service department there at the same place I still work at now and I had not seen him since. Catching up almost a decade in 10 minutes is tough so we chatted about a few different people we used to work with and also about what we had been up to lately. Quonset came up and he mentioned he was still flying there full time. I asked if he flew in the Sherpa during the airshow, his eyes widened and he asked if i was there and why didnt I stop by? Then i asked if he was in the airplane on saturday morning for the flag jump. Then he said "That guy was amazing!" On thursday, during the practice show, Sean D. T. had pulled his airplane right up to the back of the Sherpas rear door and the other pilot said "Look out back!"
I guess the pictures are amazing. I not only commented on the fact that while sitting in traffic on saturday morning, Sean Was "The Man" for pulling right up to the back of the airplane and almost driving in. I couldnt imagine what those guys were thinking the first time he pulled up there.
He said he will stop by with some pics to see, I cant wait.

Jimmy will be going over to that 4 letter place with alot of sand and potholes soon. Good Luck! Fly Safe! It was good to see ya!
