Good luck,
Shannon was laid off in January, and was getting a little beat up by the end of Summer, things looked bleak, the interviews she had been on were scary.
One afternoon, while surfing Craigslist, she saw something interesting, and sent over her resume. A half hour later she had an interview, was introduced to what would end up being the girl to train her, they had worked together before. Go figure. She has been there for two months now, loves it, and is making $3 more than she was at the Chocolate Shop. Once again, go figure.
Something good will pop up.

At 9:34am this morning AZ time, I recieved a call from ATCA offering me the job. I start on Nov 30, at 8am. I have been relectant to even look in aviation after dealing with a FBO and a certain warbird owner that are not concerned with safety first. This was the first aviation company I have applied with, and the only reason I did is thier reputation.
It has been a very stressful year, and I hope this is the start of some good times for a change.
Thanks for all the support

To start, back to a A&P till I have enough time in to get bumped to inspector, 30 days I thnik. I am also the only mechanic with a pilots license, so they would like to have me do the slow timing and test flights, that way the maint dept is not dependant on finding a instructor to do them, so after a cylinder or engine change, I would go and turn circles over the airport for 2 hours. I guess I better get my medical up to date after my first paycheck.
ATCA does the initial training for Lufttanza using Bonanzas and there is a small group of Luftwaffa students training on 6 Grob 110 trainers, They also do the maint for another flight school that uses Piper Warriors

Congrats Matt! Hopefully it won't be long before you get back on your feet. Maybe that job will open up other opportunities for you, particularly in the warbird arena.
