Jack, do you have any more information on that photo? It is different from the radar set-up we're studying for Chuckie.
I'm no radio guru and this stuff is mounted way different from the H2X we're gonna build. I'm wondering if it could be the search radar they used on the lifeboat versions or something.

Thanks! Now I've got another thing to research.

The weather ships had some pretty sophisticated stuff in them for their day. In fact, I suppose
Chuckie might have had this set-up in her during her time with the Weather Center after the War.

The box the Navigator is looking into is a GEE set Indicator Type 62A.
The two black boxes on the right of the photo are the ID-6/APN-4 Indicator (top) and the R-9A/APN-4 Receiver (bottom) of the APN-4 Loran radar navigation system.
