Aside from being grass and therefore sensitive to nose wheel aircraft, I'm not so sure that the runway really needs any work. I've landed on it before and it's pretty smooth and is definitely well established. There have certainly been a number of heavies that have flown off of the strip including a C-54, C-121, B-24, C-123, and C-130. Maybe someone else that has actually flown a large aircraft off of the field has better input since I've only landed there in a T-cart and Cherokee.
The areas that really need work IMO would be the taxiways, especially the parallel taxiway.

Jamie, I was in the back of a B-25 sliding past center stage with Brickendon and Tavenor! Fun ride, landed right after a rain shower!
Anti-skid would have been nice but don't think it would have mattered on grass!

Keep it up good buddy! I didn't even know you were helping on the B-23, cool! I think the target for getting it here in November-ish, not sure though.
