I caught Where Eagles Dare and Kelllys Heroes. I remember seeing bothe when they came out. Kelly's Heroes is one of my all time fave war movies. I also watched a black and white oldie about Paul Tibbets and the bomb, starring Robert Taylor. I only watched part of it, back and forth between it and NBA playoffs. I'd like to tape and edit that movie and delete the urpy chick flick part. There was some good B-29 footage in it. Seems like there was a remake of it in the eighties....

The movie was Above and Beyond, and the remake was the Enola Gay, with Patric Duffy,

I have Above and Beyond on the Tivo and so far it is pretty good. And the actress playing his wife is smokin' hot. Although it's obviously "hollywood" that Mrs Tibbets knew who Eddie Allen was or that he was killed flying the XB-29.

Just watched that film yesterday. Classic indeed!
