This is the one Canadian show I am tentatively planning on getting to this year. I really want to see the Hawk 1 (Golden Hawks) Sabre in flight.

Just so everyone knows tickets are still available for the Gala. It should be a great evening. Catering is going to be done by Koolini's and most if not all of the pilots will be in attendance. More info can be found here: http://www.winairshow.com/

Also there will be a Pig Roast on Saturday evening to again raise funds for the Lancaster. This will be much more informal compared to the Gala. Tickets are $35 for adults and $15 for kids under 10. The menu includes, Pulled Pork with assorted sauces, Coleslaw, Potato Salad, Baked Beans, Rolls and Carrot Cake. If anyone is interested please email me at ryanorshinsky@gmail.com and I will send you the order form.

Ryan,

I hope you mean those performers are in addition to the ones you originally listed, i.e., the Snowbirds, Hawk One, Harvard team, etc., etc. have not dropped out?

Also are you saying that the CWH Lanc has been downgraded to static and the Firefly and Lysander will not fly? :(

Yes those are the new additions. Everything in the first post is still coming.

And yes the Lanc will not be flying, same with the Firefly, B-25 and Lysander. It still could change but as of now it's not happening. :(

Thanks Ryan, that's unfortunate about CWH, now I will have to beg my wife to let me hang around for the departures on Sun.

Yeah, I was really looking forward to seeing them in the air during the show. At least there's still arrival and departure days to see them though.

Just on a side note, next years airshow is scheduled for August 28-29, and they are currently in the planning stages of a seperate annual warbird flyin possibly at the end of September. :D

The flying schedule has been released. Looks like the CT-142 won't be flying but CWH's B-25, Firefly, and Lysander will be. You can also expect to see a few departures during the show on Sunday.

Hey Ryan, you just made my day. Kudos to whoever made that warbird display happen. I haven't seen an airshow in my hometown for 20 years and this looks like it will be a beauty.

Haha, I thought it might. I actually have no idea who made that happen but I'm glad they did. There's still a slim posibility of the Lanc being added to the flying line-up as well.
