You said that Swoose was too far gone to polish, but show a couple of polished areas. So were they trying a different kind of polish, or were those test areas. If they were trying some "new" technique what was it? As someone who has spent the better part of 4 months polishing a C-47 I am always looking for something different.

I will try and find out what method was used, and how they did it. Basically the Swoose was going to be captured in a time period of O.D. over gray, with the Swoose art work and the bathtub, due to the condition of the skin. I have not seen anything that says anything has changed, but I think it is being closely watched as to how the skin looks as it is being polished.
