Everytime I look at these sorts of photos of wartime crew the guys look like they're in their mid 40's not early to mid 20's

My vote for 'coolest B-17 guy' goes to 'Snuffy' Smith, a gunner in the 100th that they had to go get from KP duty he was on for some infraction, so the General could pin his CMH on him-that's a cool dude!
