Awesome al! Which stang did you ride in? And it was good to meet you as with al the wix'ers i met at the meet and eat!

It was great meeting you as well.

The Mustang was the CAF Red Nose. They were doing the flying down in Fond Du Lac. If it weren't for something happening in Oshkosh we were gonna fly up there and buzz the show but the pattern was pretty full. That would've been cool but it really didn't matter.

I've counted 5 P-40's on the photos posted by Al:

- P-40E AK753 (41-36206?) Ron Fagen / Warhawks Inc. - N4420K.
- P-40N 42-104827 Mike Potter / VWoC - C-FVWC.
- P-40E AK905 Rudy Frasca - N40PE.
- P-40N 42-105861 John Fallis - N49FG.
- P-40N 42-105867 Commemorative Air Force - N1226N.

I'm pretty sure it was just the five which is just fine in my book. The only thing that could've been better would've been seeing them all lined up next to each other for a day.

I've got quite a few shots of Fagen's plane but i'm not sure when i'll get them online.

Glad you enjoyed the ride, it is my personal goal to make sure everyone that flies in Red Nose has the most fun they can have with their clothes on. I thought you looked familar, but I could not place you. Shoot, if I would of know you were a wixer you could of taken the " speical" ride. ;).

Thank you again for supporting the CAF and Red Nose. If you are ever in GA look us up and I wil give you a personal tour ofthe Dixie Wing.

Thank you guys for bringing her up and giving people the opportunity to have this experience. I was overjoyed just seeing my dad go on Saturday but to get the surprise from my folks that i'd be going on Sunday was just.....WOW!

Everyone I dealt with from your crew on the grounds in Oshkosh and FDL were amazing.

THANK YOU!!!!!

Now to find the time to work on the pics and story of the greatest weekend ever :D

I just wanted to thank everyone that came to AirVenture WIXFEST'09 this year. We had a record turnout, including a visitor from Down Under and a few more from "up nort yeah der hey." Special thanks to my wife Jenn for doing all the work, to Dan K for once again providing everyone with a place to sit, to Bear for the great nametags, and to Sabremech's wife Cindi for giving Jenn a lot of moral support throughout the day. It was great seeing old friends and making new, and we can't wait to do it again next year!

No zoom, 500mm f/4L on a Canon 50D.

I couldn't make it to Wixfest, but it sure was fun to say 'Hi' to every Wixer who stopped by the plane.
Thx,

Well Vlado, maybe you can make it next year. Oh, by the way, it was an absolute pleasure to meet you. I hope I run into you at future airshows.
