This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Dave Hadfield completed his check out on the Kittyhawk on Sunday and was then to head out for Oshkosh to join the rest of the Vintage Wings of Canada Victory flight. Dave's a WIXer as well! Was on the ramp on Sunday and got to sit on the deck at VWoC while Dave gave us a private showing of the Kittyhawk. What a beautiful aircraft to watch flying. Took these Sunday before he left.

If you are around Oshkosh about 6pm tomorrow the CAF has organized several of it's birds to arrive in formation. Confirmed aircraft are the P51 Red Nose, Hellcat, Seafury, T-33, Yak-3 and with any luck we will also have Gunfighter and maybe one more CAF P-51.

Will try to be out there and capture the arrivals. Should be able to post in real time because a friend is letting me use a MyFi - faster than my desktop. We'll see how it handles juggling Photobucket & WIX.
We regestered about 35 today - well below last year but on a par with 2007. 3 -51's are all we have for fighters so far. Must be more on Aeroshell Square but haven't walked it yet

Chris:
I will keep you updated as the group assembles at Madison and gets ready to launch for Oshkosh. Thanks for the pic, unfortunately I will be in a car driving from Atlanta while the CAF descends on yall. Somehow a Crow Vic just doesn't do it for me.
Thanks again!

Wow... Knowing the pilot crowd, I wonder what the percentage of change, percentage of usage, etc... of the wireless networks up there is!
