I travelled from Seattle to Lone Star last week and was a bit dissapointed as they only had seven aircraft on display which the web site does not reflect. Do not get me wrong, I am not complaining as the ordeal they went through was terrible but I think the web site needs updating so we enthusiasts know what to expect when we get there. Rad

There is a lot of stuff going on!!

I was there the first day for clean up after IKE and I was almost in tears that day! It was such a shocker to see the devestation. LSFM has come a long way since last September. If you havent seen the IKE pics on the museum, check them out!

The museums gift shop has been completely redone and looks fantastic! There even more stuff and more room. For those who have been to LSFM it looks completely different. The ride program continues to march on and T-6 flights will soon be available. Several people are working on exhibit pieces from the Texas Aviation Hall of Fame. Hangar one contains all the flyable aircraft. Hangar two houses most of the aircraft that had damage from IKE. Those aircraft are being worked on as well.

Thank's goes out to all the people that donated time & money to get the museum back on her feet again.

The island is making a big comeback! :f4u:
