Some sort of either Stearman or Waco (red) droning along the Malibu beach this morning headed North
& somewhat later a cessna of some sort followed by 2 V-tail DrKillers doing a tailchase along PCH headed south (I almost dozed off)

Well, as I did not attend the Geneseo show with the C-54, This evening I was treated to a vantage point that I usually don't get.
Tim was kind enough to fly DIRECTLY over my backyard on the way back to MJX. It was pretty sweet, as I was having friends over for a small BBQ.
My one friend remarked, "Well there's something you don't see everyday",and we looked up and there it was!
I live in Jamesburg, NJ (5 miles W of Old Bridge Airport)

While camping with the Cub Scouts this weekend, we had this noisy beast drown out the chirping birds and the frogs chorus. Registry shows her as a 1974 build, in government ownership. At WAR with the mosquitoes! Interesting hopper layout. He was doing laps back and forth across a swamp area and popping above the tree-line every turn at our end.

I live eleven miles out on the approach to Moffett Field, CA (now a NASA facility). The other evening about 8:15 or so I spotted an unidentified A/C on final approach to Moffett. Although it was a bit dark all I could note is that it was a high wing assault transport, twin engine, turbo prop, narrowish fuselage, high tail and a wrap around camoflauge scheme.
Any ideas? The only A/C I could come up with was a Transall C-160. But a NATO A/C in the S.F. Bay area? Hmmm..I guess it's possible

I saw my brother arrive in the one and only 1930 Waco CRG and he joined up with my wife who was also returning home in her 1930 Waco RNF for a couple passes down the runway together.
