I'm 5'11, and traveled 6600 miles in 15 days on a "See the USA" road trip in my Mustang GT, and never had a problem. It did 125mph at one point, with plenty of RPM left, and it was stable as a rock. The earliest models were arguably the worst, and surpassing 45 years of production, I would hardly call it a "phenomenom". Prowlers and Crossfires are phenomena...

We had three fuel stops and averaged 72 MPH for the run!
