I wanna know why he wants to own multiple F8F and F7F's. :?: I know he can afford them but......then again if I had the money I'd probably own a few P-40's myself! :D

It looks like my model shelf in there!

I think it's great that he is collecting them. The best part is he actually flies them as well. Kinda reminds me of a couple gentleman with collections in this neck of the woods.

He's a pretty savvy oil man. Over 1000 producing wells of his own on this side of the border as well as a lucrative,
tho a bit precarious, exclusive deal with Pemex in Mexico..and other schtufff.

He's been using aircraft, starting with an Aeronca, for years as tools in his business. After surviving a bout with cancer
he decided to get active with the warbirds. If he didn't buy 'em he'd never get to fly 'em! :D A Forbes article here and

I sure hope he does set up that museum so th epublic can enjoy them when they are not in the air. I can't say I blame him for having such an awesome collection.
