There was a Buchon there in the 90's. Seems that this maybe a 108, no doubt a NORD.

There is speculation of a 108 and a 109 stored there. I got photos of the 108 but never saw anything of a 109. Of course there are lots of stuff covered up in the back of the old row hanger. Crates of parts and other odds and ends. You never know what is there.

The number of 109s is prity finite and all are well documented (even if not in public), so unless they got the 'time capsule 109' in a crate advertised a few years ago in Trade A Plane, I doubt there is a 'surprise' beckoning in the 109 arena.........of course we live in hope.

The crated up plane is a Bf-108 (technically a Nord) that belongs to Dr. Bill Anderson. I have heard it was acquired from Jean Salis back in the 90's and it has remained crated since.

It was acquired by Anderson while he was still flying the Me-208/Nord 1101 -- before selling THAT to Jerry Yagen / Fighter Factory. There was supposedly a rumor that the transaction included a pair of good Spitfire wings.

The Spitfire, TD 135, was transferred to the Vormezeele Collection in Belgium, but since then, I have not seen any photos confirming this.

The Hispano HA.1112 (Me-109) was taken off-property sometime after or around 1996. The Merlin engine off of it was reportedly sold or traded to Harold Kindsvater in CA for the Me-208/Nord that Anderson flew around that time. As for the airframe, no one seems to know... though it is generally assumed that it's been sold or is in deep storage somewhere.

There used to be a bunch of trailers around the property at D52 holding various goodies... not sure if most of them are still there, but one can only wonder...

Thanks,
Ryan

Apparently these "parts" have recently showed up at Geneseo. Also I guess the 108/Nord is no longer in the back of the t-hanger. The plot thickens. :?: :?:
