That is perhaps the coolest T-28 I have ever seen.

It needs to lose the spinner and get the cowl strakes.
The fellow who gave the the VT-5 photos was a gunnery instructor
and he said the a/c didn't fly right with armament without the strakes.

Look on the nose under the cowl flaps in the top photo. They add stability
when carrying the gun pods.

You can see the strakes' shadows on the side of the cowling in Jack's photo, about halfway up.

Them.
