Hi all
I had a little scan this morning and think you might be interested in these.
They were taken in 1984/5 at Blackbush airfield in the UK.
Blackbush was the home of “Warbirds of Great Britain” an aircraft trading company. All sorts of interesting stuff came through there over the years going in both directions across the pond.
This b-25 was one of the aircraft brought over for the film “Hanover Street” I think its still over hear in much the same condition!
One of the numerous ex Danish airforce Hunters that Bae took as part exchange for some Hawks.
This was an Ex-IGN aircraft that became the Lonestars “Thunderbird” I wanted to see it when I went to Galveston last year, to get an “After” picture but she was away earning her corn. Lucky for her as “Ike” decided to follow me there!
Sorry about the chain link fence frame!
