Well, I live about 2 miles from Luke AFB so I don't even bother to look up at jet noise anymore. However, I did see Sentimental Journey out and about on Saturday and that I did look up for!

Today I saw a C46 and DC3, which I see fly pretty much every day! We get all sorts of interesting aircraft on a daily basis, 737-200s (havent seen a newer 737 here yet), Hercs, Dash-7s, Twin Otters, DHC5 Buffalo.

You'll always get an interesting mix here in Yellowknife.

My cubicle @ work is on the second floor of our building facing West and directly across from the tower @ KPAE and features 10X10 windows so today, I watched an ALASKA 737-700 w/winglets takeoff and disappear into the soup @ about 400 feet, I see stuff from 150's and CUBS to all the BOEING stuff fly in and out every day, it's a paid day @ the airshow every work day, then when the weather gets better I watch John Sessions fly his stuff in and out along with other more 'fair weather' types.

My office is right underneath one of the landing patterns for IAH airport in Houston. So I see alot of 737's, ERJ's & 747's. From time to time I do see some AN-124's, a AN-12 and the scarce AN-225! At the house every evening I see Memorial Hermans Life Flight's Eurocopters as well as PHI's life flight flying over I-45.
