Well...Mrs. Mudge has changed our mind. Seems like we'll be there both days. And for those of you who are against it, I'll be in reenactor gear. Get over it.

Mudge the malleable

No...no...no...I don't have that shirt anymore, Mrs. Mudge now uses that neckerchief as a tablecloth and they won't let me in with a firearm.

Mudge the disappointed

By the way...That there's funny. I don't care who ya' are.

Kim and I definitely plan to attend this one. Almost 800 miles one-way, not counting a side trip or two we have in mind.

From the latest update I see that besides Jim's Spitfire, Roush's Old Crow has been added. :) But Duffy's Spitfire has dropped off. :( Anyone know the story there? I was looking forward to the pair of Spits.

I'll be there on Friday.

I am looking forward to seeing Jim's Spit and Roush's Old Crow.

I would imagine that Mr.Duffy's priorities have changed since his TBM was damaged a few weeks back.

Just remember, you can't bring our pocket knife or B.A.R. in to the show but you can buy you a sword or bayonet in the flea market there.

Come to think of it WW2 Weekend would make a great October show.

NO, IT WOULD NOT!! I do not mean to sound hostile, but having volunteered almost every Rotorfest held by the American Helicopter Museum and Education Center I can say without hesitation that October is a terrible time for East Coast air shows, unless they are held below the Carolinas. The weather is at best a crap shoot and we have had too many cold, windy, rain outs and when the weather is sunny the wind is just as bad.

This from the MAAM website,

The flight line has been returned to the previous location of three
years ago affording you a better up-close and personal view of flight line action
!

Better up-close and personal view? Thought that was why they finally moved it 3 years ago.
Kinda liked not looking right into the sun and having plenty of room.
:?

Is there a specific reason Sean Carroll and his Yak-9 will not be making an appearance, AGAIN? :?
