Sure looks like GO to me. I've seen a couple of other cases where Middle East squadrons repeated UK based unit codes, without it showing up in the "standard" history books. Looks like this may be another case.

Delve's
Sourcebook of the RAF lists 'GO' as 94 Sqn under Hurricanes, 'GO' otherwise not appearing on Hurris although used by a couple of other units. No confusion there, I submit!
