I dont keep up on the Reno air races. But been trying to get up to speed on it. When was the last time a P-40 was in the Reno races?

Pretty sure the last time was when John Maloney flew the POF P-40 in the early '90s. I could be wrong.

I think he was flying John Paul's or Tom Camp's P-40, wasn't he?

I would have to check my files to be certain but John Paul's P-40N raced several times in the late 80s and early 90s flown by Fred Sebby and Steve Hinton, and the Kittyhawk raced once flown by John Maloney.

I just checked -- the last time was 1995, with the -N flown by Tom Camp and the -E flown by John Maloney.

I thought someone posted pics a while ago of a P-40 at reno just a few years ago? Also when was the last time a P-38 raced. I am guessing it was White Lightening?
