Ouch, and I thought I was bad  :?
If you take a T-28 and throw a million bucks at it
you'll still have a T-28 when you're done

I was plannig on taking up an offer to start flying a T-28B in January. Was going to get a type rating in it, but based on what I have learned here today, I guess I should turn down the offer?

Are you crazed man   :?:
What good's a airplane if you can't taske a few jabs at it now and again :?:
I know a bunch of big engine T-28 guys and flown in quite a few.
a very cool a/c.
But, I know a guy who put over a million $$ into his and it never flew
any better than the guy used a wisk broom and a can of house paint
to touch up the paint job periodically on his. That's the point
