Let us know when and where it's going to be in Az. Plane looks great. Is the round tubing standard for the radio racks?

Tube is correct for Radar and two of the racks in the radio compartment...the main radio components are in the Nav. area and utilize extruded angle.
Hope to move it in Jan/Feb for a couple of months to work on the bomb bay without the snow. Mesa or Marana...not sure yet. Would like to have "POONER" help if he's available
Dave

Thank-you for posting these pictures and information about your project.
Will appreciate sincerely any information about and pix of the interior layout - crew positions, especially gunner(s).

I'll talk to the guys at the CAF Az Wing to see if you can ramp her there. When the B-17 is out of annual, they put most of the other planes inside and it should free up some ramp space.

WW2 John...The only gun positions would be the Upper Turret, and the Tunnel Gun position which I still have to install...it's rather involved and needs alot of machine work to duplicate but I'm almost there. They carried a crew of 4-5 normally or a crew of 7 in the alutions at times to give them redundent postions in case of injury...by the way I have a diagram of all positions and equip if you want to PM me
Chris..Thanks very much for the offer to inquire for me...Pooner said there may be room where "BARBIE III" is parked??? Don't know...have to watch the pennies as it's just me paying for this

What a cool project! Thanks for the info, Dave! I'm looking forward to seeing her sometime at an airshow! Keep up the good work on this sadly neglected type! :D
