Better not be Impatient Virgin. She stays out here where she belongs.

While working on the C-47 today we heard the unmistakeable sound of a Merlin. Figured it would be La Pistelara as she flew by last week, but it was Miss Maryland, haven't seen her out of the barn except for Oshkosh and Columbus.

Definately not! The advertised aircraft has 300 hours post resto on it. Its fairly stock but has a somewhat modern avionics fit and fusing arrangement in the cockpit. I am guessing its probably an EAA winner from maybe five years or more ago. The owner wants to keep his identity confidential (no I dont know who it is) so perhaps his wishes should be honored.

Absolutely incorrect. You may have seen a brochure but it was not a sales brochure! HJGB is not going anywhere. Quote from the owner "Shes made to be flown not sold!"
No plans to sell what so ever...

So you can only know it is for sale if you have the ability to sign the check.

What about Red Dog, won two or three years ago at OSH. Ron Pratt the muscle car collector owns it now, and it is hardly ever seen.

Or Daddy's Girl, that one is also rarely seen.

I'm sure Mike will verify - the pictures of the 'for sale' airplane do not show generous (and very authentic) helpings of zinc chromate paint in the gun bays = not one of Midwest's I would say.
