Nice photos!! WoW what a lot of work ahead, but what a way to keep occupied for a while!!

I noticed you have a Hiller helicopter in one of the pictures. I'm in the process of restoring my Hiller, which is a C model. Looks like you guys have an early Hiller...is it an A or B model and do you plan to restore it? I hope so 'cuz I just love to see the early choppers so as to give a historical reference as to how far copters have evolved.

We sure do plan on restoring her! Just gonna take a little while with other projects in the way but fear not! Actually this one came from a farm in Connecticut somewhere. (Danielson I think?) and had a tree growing out from under it! She seems to be in good shape and will make an excellent addition to the collection when done. Now all we need to find is the classic Sikorsky/ Vought stuff.

Anybody know of a good S-43 with low miles on it?

CASC Update: Work has progressed on the Corsair as the cowling and flaps have been pulled off. The prop has also been taken off and we are currently trying to dismantle it further. Certain panels in and around the fighter are beginning to come off to discover the extant of the corrosion. Recently at another local museum, The Discovery Museum in Bridgeport, http://www.discoverymuseum.org/index.html a traveling exhibit named “Take Flight” has moved in for the next few months and CASC has been given the chance of bringing down some rather large pieces of the Corsair. Namely a wing, prop, a large S-39 model, and some other cool things too. Putting some of our stuff on display will not only put aviation in the forefront of kid’s minds, but its always good exposure for the museum. Cant really think of anything else that’s new, but an update is an update!
