I doubt it. As is common with virtually the entire collection, except for maybe 3 or 4 planes, all are restored to airworthy condition, with N numbers, but not flown.

this summer i worked at a southern california restoration shop where they were working on this hellcat.one thing to think about is that every aircraft theyve restored has flown, just pointing that out.It is being restored to flyable condition.

So there has been some singular secretive mostly unpublicized test flight of each of these aircraft? And no photos!

Really? I don't think that is true. As far as I know the P-47D, XP-47M, P-51A, P-38, Dauntless, P-63, and P-39 have never flown. Some of the older restorations flew years ago, like the O-52, but I don't think it has flown in over twenty years either. They have flown the Lockheed 12, Staggerwing and T-6 with in the last few years, but as far as I know that is it. Brandon might know better. Not taking away from the collection, however.

Tim, he's talking about the shop that built Stephen Grey's Hawk and P-40B. I'm not sure if that shop will be doing the final assembly and testing though since the fuselage is already in Yanks' shop.

Nice, any more photos of the A-6?

Here are a few more photos of Yank's restoration and storage area. They were actually moving some of the aircraft around , so they had the hanger doors open . The B-25 is progressing as well, this is the ex Australian War Memorial aircraft.
