Took these this summer on a vacation. Mike H I hope the GPS coordinates help? This one is in Levelland Tx.

This one is in Lubbock Tx. Can someone tell me what the hump on the bottom is, camera?

The last one I saw was in Fort Garland Colorado. It looked like they had just put it up not to long ago and it was a POW/MIA memorial. I forgot to get the GPS #'s but its just east of town right beside the highway.

The one in Lubbock looks pretty rough, no rudder and the canopy isnt even close to being sealed. I'd be afraid to look in that cockpit.

Well according to FAA N36AK belongs to a Arlie Kelly in Lubbock but I do not think it is airworthy, for one the tires were rotten :shock: And it looked bad all around :!:

Is that Lubbock pole T-33 at the State School? Just North of the old Texas Instruments plant?

Nice, thanks for posting these. Looks like the "USAF" T-33 in CO is really a USN T-bird. Boy that one in Lubbock sure is looking pretty rough which is sad to see. Not sure that that hump on the bottom is but I'd like to know too. Anyone?

Well the red intake warning triangles are a dead give away but look at your tail shot. It says "T-33B 138064" - the "B" model was the navy version. It was known as the TV-2 before the "change"...
