it's a l2d2 tabby 22 (japanese built dc3) in american markings :shock: .
the odd thing is that whilst the wrecks around it are in the middle of being scrapped the tabby is being restored for flight it seems.

According to the original caption the picture was taken on Luzon in the Phillipines.
