This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

My vote is for a Northrup F-15 Reporter.
Does anybody know what happened to the remains of the F-15 fire bomber that crashed years ago. Last I heard the remains were sitting in a hangar somewhere?

ANY Italian aircraft would be terrific. I would love to see the MiG-3 and the Ki-43 which are both flying

There are many but a Short Sunderland and a Handley-Page Halifax would be right up there. I can see it in my minds eye. Nice.... As for U.S. types , the B-36 would be an awseome sight. Never happen though

I'll cast another vote for a Whirly, as long as it carries the prototype paint scheme for its first year of flight ops... ooo la la!
And my second pick is an early B-52, just because this fair lass really, really wants to fly in one.

I often wonder what would have happened if the Vultures had been replaced with Merlins! The Whirlwind just looked so right. Almost an early Hornet.

I second the Skycrane with a Jolly Green.

Great question! I'd like to see more whirlybirds for sure, 'specially a Banana. Also want to see a Northrop YC-125 Raider...
Because I knew one personally once upon a time, that's why. Hideous thing.
