Would really like to Pm with someone who has built some T-hangers. I don't have any real construction experience but am going to try and get a 8 or 10 unit building up this next year.
I have a tenative land lease and a (so far) cooperative airport authority and airport manager to work with, but they haven't given any minimum design specs, etc.
Just think it would be nice if I didn't reinvent the wheel here. Also am kinda hesitant about just writing a check to a contractor and waiting for the keys.
.... And it's not off topic, after all this is the wix HANGAR thread right!!

We have a 13 space T hangar about 75% done at Creve Coeur Airport here in St. Louis. It's our first nested T hangar building on the airport but we have built about 100 stand alone hangars. In theory, we should have known how to do this but we allowed some communication issues to cause problems. No fault of the building manufacturer or the contractors but a nested T is certainly more complicated than we thought. I do think the door design will be better than most but the tail slot is too narrow so we will be limited on the types of planes that can fit in the spaces. PM me if you want more details, photos, or contact information.
