Does anyone know anything about this area i.e. cost of living, property taxes, quality of life, schools, etc.? Mulling over a possible job opportunity in that area. Thanks...

Scott: We were looking at taking a transfer to another division and relocating to the general area last year. I've got a bunch of links that a couple of guys sent me along with quite a few answers to questions that I had. If you can wait until I get home in the morning, I'll cut and paste everything that they sent me. It will save them from having to relocate all that stuff and it will probably answer most of your questions.

Ever come up with anything on this? I'm still considering a move out there...

I suggest that if you want to work around Centennial, you'd be better to look in Parker or even eastern Aurora

Scott: I'll cut and paste together the data that I got from various members tonight and pm it to you. I'll have to wait until the boys are in bed so things are a bit quieter. After looking at all the info and doing salary and cost of living comparisons as well as looking at the probable wage increases we will see in our next contract, it would have been pretty difficult for us to make the move. I would have had to get at least a 45% raise in base salary to maintain what we have here. Unfortunately that would have put me at the top of the salary range and prevented any raises in the future until the rate ranges were adjusted.
