I'm going to take this advise myself, so no tomatoes please!

Go do something relaxing, enjoy a warbird (or a restoration, or a replication, or your fancy dataplate... ) and let's try to forgive our friends here so we can come back and fight another day!

Image
Caption on the photo got me to laughing as I thought about things here - they didn't always even get things right back in the day!
Caption said, "A Taylor cub buzzes the platform while Betty Hutton and troops entertain men of the 369th Station Hospital on Saipan, Marianas Islands. Since there was no stage on the island, the show went on in the open under the tropical sun. 19 October 1944.

It's a Piper, BTW.

I'm hoping that I'll get to do some L-bird flying tomorrow. Maybe even a X-country to Killeen!

Ryan-

C.G. Taylor was so closely associated with the Cub's design that I frequently heard it refferred to as a Taylor Cub into the mid-60's.

My band:

I'm the guy in the middle, we're trying to look cool for the Myspace crowd. We're not cool, we're dorks that talk too much and have "weird" hobbies.

The guitar is an original 1956 Regal Archtop.
