I will be there, but I'm really only going for the WIX Lawyers Alliance conference. We will be having our meetings in an enclosed tent during the flying portion of the show because, being lawyers, we are of course not interested in watching silly airplanes fly around. Our tent is located right next to the first-aid tent so that we can hand out business cards to heatstroke victims or anyone else who gets injured during the show.

.........and you can assure the WIX wives that the Hold Harmless agreement their husband is rapidly signing away because he got a free Mustang ride, really doesn't hold water.

Right Pat?

......free warbird rides is why I have life insurance.

Pete, I think the seven hour drive with Keith at the wheel is more dangerous.

Pat
I'll be there with my Beer. I'll be making up my labels this week and getting the bottles ready. I'll be sure to post a preview of the selection.

I can't wait to get back to Geneseo! I can't believe it will be my first airshow of the year, man that hurts. I'm glad I got to a few museums this year.

Tim

Hey Tim, that's good news. The LI crew is heading there on Friday morning and we are staying until Mon. AM. Three full days should be enough to hold me over until next year.

Kelly and I will be there Friday around noon or so. We'll be taking off Sunday after the show to see some family before heading South again.

Ray is coming along again this year, you guys didn't scare him enough last year. Ryan however is not. :(

For anyone who is making a vacation out of the Geneseo show, a fun, historic and scenic experience is to go to Harris Hill park( National Soaring Museum) and take a glider flight. It is only 69 miles to Corning on a freeway. It may be listed as at Elmira, but I think it is closer to Corning. This is the place where organized gliding really began in the US, near where the Schweitzer factory is, and has been in operation since the 30's. Ride prices are a fraction of what a warbird is, $80?, and just after takeoff you come out over the beautiful green valley. If you go, phone for a reserved time as they get busy. This place is like a time machine, also check out the very cool period vintage wooden hangar. Other area attractions, the Glen Curtis Museum, Watkins Glen auto race track, and Nat Warplane Museum.

I was at Harris Hill last week Bill. First time I was there. I heard about a free glider ride went out and found out they are not free otherwise I woulda gone on a glider ride! :D :? It's $70 for a ride...$80 for aerobatic flights? :?:

Nathan, what did you think of the place? Did you notice the old hangar? I have not heard of free flights, unless it was like a Young Eagles day. $70 seems like a reasonable price to me, quite a bit cheaper than the local Co. one.

I feel your pain on the lenght of the drive. I went from 3 1/2 hours to 13 hours.

Kelly and I are looking forward to seeing everyone again.
