Yes, its the one that was out in the dirt here in Midland. The B-29/B-24 Squadron is who used to own it, but no longer had a use for it, so I obtained it from them. The goal was to get the "hill" cleaned up, and I got the nose BEFORE the possibility of it being scrapped.
Am I over-reacting? Well, there's a PBY in my back yard that WAS on its way to being scrapped, so I think being proactive was the best choice to make, regarding this C-97 nose.
