This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Mostly from the earlier World War, taken at the fly-in at Platte Valley Airport, North of Denver, on Friday and Saturday. See
http://www.lafayettefoundation.org/ , the museum is open on Saturdays and by appointment. A WW2 themed fly-in is in the planning stages for October.

That's better, thanks BDK, and Photobucket-
The Lafayette Foundation is a neat place, in addition to the airplanes they have lots of memorabilia including a large collection of WW1 and WW2 pilot's uniforms, and other items. Well worth the visit if you're in the Denver area.

Wow!
Thanks for the photos and the info.
Someone had mentioned this museum to me ... but I didn't know the location.
I will put this on the "to-do" list.
I still have to stop by Gordon Pages "Spirit of Flight" center and check that out.
