It is almost as if they took special glee in chopping up and bulldozing lightings. P-38's get the worst treatment from the scrapman of any warbirds with the possible exception of the B-26's being blown apart. Those pics really make me sick.

They didn't want zombie lightings coming back and eating people I guess.

In png they would take two jeeps with cables and snatch the gear out of p-40s or garrot off the tails and then dump them in holes and cover them up. :evil:

I count nine Mustangs, a few P-47Ns, a couple of B-24s, the C-46 and the B-17. Was the Fort a Dumbo or VIP transport?
