I hadn't realized that Yanks Air Museum had added a hangar and given a facelift to the entrance of the facility.

If you toggle between 'Google Maps' and 'Microsoft VE' you can see the obvious changes. I've been seeing the same Google Earth maps since around 2001. Not sure when the Microsoft VE images were recorded.

Unfortunately, the border of the more recent satellite imagery stops just west of Yanks Air Museum's property line. Beyond that, it''s the same images from Google's database, thus no new images of the rest of the Chino Airport are available. :?

This area is now paved ramp:

There are new "country club" hangars in this area:

Yanks has also taken over this hangar and is using it for storage:

THey've also moved their Convair to the west side of that hangar.

The roof has yet to be installed on the new hangar (which has been occupied for at least a year- jets & air racers):
