We're fortunate in having two PT22s at Old Warden. Here are a few photos of them in action:

Excellent!!
I was thinking of building a model of one and I read that the wings were not straight as the model kits are so these photo's help .
Hope I can pull it off by cutting up the wings to sweep them back.
I was going to post on the model sight but I found out there are some still flying and I lucked out.
Any one with a South American countryPT-22 photo? but I'm happy with these.
Thank you all very much.

Rick, what kit were you planning on using ? If it is an STA or STM kit, they didn't have the wing sweep. They also used the inline Menasco rather than the Kinner radial.

This kit http://www.squadron.com/NoStock.asp?item=SO72064
which is the PT-20 kit and resin nose, engine added to it.So the wings are the only proplem.

Tyabb (Westernport, Victoria, Australia) Airshow a couple of years ago. If I understand you are taking a conversion from a STA/M kit to a PT-22, the undercarriage is also different.

I'd recommend 'The Ryan Guidebook' as well.

No the kit is of the Pt-22 it has the parts for the PT-22 in resin and the plastic PT-20 kit for for the main wing ,etc.Just the wings are wrong which I already changed using photo of the plane from almost looking straight up.
Any way thanks for the photo's they do and did help .
Thanks Rick
