I went to see this down here in Melbourne last night. I was actually a pretty good film, even though script had some serious chronological problems, other than a B-17G in 1941.

My first thought on seeing the Lady in a 1941 scene was the same as everyone elses. I was prepared to forgive because they had little option if we wanted to see a flying B-17. But ... later on in the script, they have one of the characters say "it was one of the new models, with the chin turret" when referring to a crash that supposedly happened in 1944. You don't have to know much about warbirds to know that if something was new in 1944, it couldn't have been seen at at airport in 1941! Why point out the bleeding obvious when you don't have to?

Other than that, it wasn't a bad film, and it made SWMBO cry at the end, so everybody wins!

It doesn't look that bad. You guys must be awfully lonely if you can't even appreciate a love story set in WWII of all things. ;)

Probably not. And I'm not lonely either.

I really don't want to pass judgement on a film I have not seen but it looks like another Titanic film. I remember all the hype about Titanic it sucked me in because all they talked about for months prior to the films release was who great it was that they recreated the ship, so I was expecting a story about the ship not a love story
