We all work full time, that is, excepting those who have a trust fund....

A moderator should be allowed to do his or her job, and knowing that there are many postings, then we should wait until they have had the time to do their thing, before we go in and say that this or that post does not belong.

Pat,

Sorry if it looks like this thread is aimed at you, because that was not my intention. I have to be honest though, and say that your posting prompted me to finally write about something that I have been watching for a while now, and that at a personal level, bugs me.

Nathan says that he is not offended, and that is very nice of him. In any case, CONGRATULATIONS on getting your lens.

I noticed though, that there were no other comments made to his post; I did not comment, because I did not want to add my comment to a thread that was already flagged as being out of place.

I should say that this is what happens, when we do not think through what we are going to post, and just write something and then hit the "save" button. I should have carefully thought my question, and all of its possible implications, and clearly I did not. I assume full responsibility for my actions, and although I would like to blame my headaches and sinusitis, in reality knowing that I was not 100% should have kept me from posting, but I decided to go ahead and do it anyway. It sounds lame, but it is actually the case.

So, for having posted my comment without properly thinking it through, and for the consequences it has caused, please accept my apologies, and these apologies are especially directed at you, Pat.

Let's go back to talking warbirds.

Saludos,

Tulio

Well, OK, -I'll Stay

Like everyone else on this forum........

First- You threaten to quit, when you have no real intention to do so.

Second- You immediately agree to stay for no apparent reason

Roger - There's just something about that airplane that really appeals to me.

Ztex- you've out done HGUCSU, a real link to "nowhere", I'm so impressed!

Airnutz- I'll just assume from your response, you know a joke when you see one

Yepper...I happened upon your post a moment after you posted it and immediately began typing
a reply..Tho, I type very slowly. So, when my reply actually hit the board..Ztex and Roger replied before me.
Sooo...prohetic, someone will miss the humour..the photos and diatribes will flourish..I rest my case

I knew a guy who likes "Beach Blanket Bingo" would get the point.

So, is that a threat, or is it a promise? Are you going to quit? Well, are you? Then go ahead and quit!!!!! Get off my obstacle! : ) [Joking OK?]

Seriously: It still makes me feel bad (read p*sses me off) when other people assume the role of policing others.

You evidently cared, since you saw it fit to add your two cents : )

Saludos,
