I kinda' like the UFO investigations. Especially the part where the scientist blows a hole in the outlandish claims most of the UFOers make.
(They probably don't understand our obsession with warbirds, either.)

As far as the "Megadisasters" go, they're getting a bit over the top, too.
"If this happens and that happens we're all doomed." Gimme a break. They dream up some of the most outlandish scenarios I've ever seen.

And the "Global Warming" message in so many of the "documentaries" on History and Discovery is getting old. Do these people really think us puny humans can do anything to destroy the planet. There has been more "greenhouse gases" released by volcanoes in the last 30 years than all that released by humans since the start of the industrial age. Earth goes through cooling and warming cycles on it's own.

Sorry...one of my pet peeves.

"Thus endeth the lesson."

That's the best I can do.

Mudge, may I introduce you to the word 'handed'? One prop is set to rotate right hand tractor, the other left hand.

;) And we can now go into the tractor jokes if we must.

I know this will be hard to believe () but being the nomenclaturally challenged dolt that I am, I actually wasn't familiar with that descriptive method.
Ah 'preciates it. :drink3:

Mudge the educable :hide:

ps. And let me be the first to ask if it's John Deere on the left and International Harvester on the right or vice versa.

(NEVER let an opportunity for humor pass you by. :D )

Yes, every body wth sense and the governments and half the scientists have got wrong. The governments use it to put prices up and make various regulations and a lot of scientists naturally jump on the band waggon. The truth is and I'm sure a lot of you will agree with me, the world is millions of years old and has progressed through tropical and ice age climates time and time again. There was a mini ice age in the 17th century, the River Thames froze and markets were held on it and the sea froze, according to records, this lasted nearly a full century. We are now heading for a semi tropical paradise, oranges growing in the Scottish Highland and grape vines in the Rockies. Anybody believe me?
