according to www.bookrags.com/wiki/Convair_B-36 a total of 10 were lost between 1949 and 1954, 3 B's, 3 D's, and 4 H's and 4 and one half remain. There's one on a mountainside in British Columbia that crashed and caused quite a flap as I think she had a nuke on board-the remains of the remains are still on the mountainside. :wink:
