I suppose it depends on how many other Mosquitos they have in Oshkosh.

Not sure what I'm supposed to be looking at there? I just see Obama?

But McCain was at the Virginia Aviation Museum last week in front of a very nice A-4

As I understand it, Mr. McCain is anti- general aviation. Does anybody know anything about this?

Considering that Boeing was cheating big time in the initial tanker bid, why is this a surprise? It was a major black mark against Boeing, and should have had everyone questioning the company, not just McCain.

Richard

PS. Yes, McCain was at EAA, conducting a town hall meeting in front of Kermit Weeks' Mosquito.

He is VERY anti aviation. He proposed the first user fees. I confronted him on a talk show about it and found out what sort of a ass he is. If you do not agree with him, and back him into a corner in a debate, he will launch into personal attacks. He did it to me on the largest talk show in Phoenix, the host, who knew me personally, unloaded on mccain during the commericial break.
mccain is not friend to aviation, freedom of speech, or gun owners, and obama is even worse

I am in Az and am embarressed that he is from my state and calls himself a conservative.

In North America these days, calling oneself a Conservative is VERY different from being conservative -- witness the spending taxing fools in Ottawa Canada as well as the spending debt-incurring fools in Washington...

I don't know the pro/con of each candidate in respect to general aviation. I hope Sen Clinton would be pro, but don't know if she has been asked that. I do know Pres Clinton used gen aviation a lot in his campaign for governor of Arkansas. I met a charter pilot who used to fly Bill around in a Cessna 180. You would think McCain or another pilot would be friendly to private aviaition, but that's not always the case. G W Bush has proposed more fees on gen aviation, for services like Flight Service which have been free, and covered by fuel taxes.
