 Post subject: CFM CORSAIR IS READY

Well, after many setbacks, fuel cell change and last, a gear strut O/H. It's finally ready. Runup and carb adjustment. Couldn't fly, the winds were too strong and gusty. The weather's not that great over the next few days. Hope to fly it next week. Photos by Scott Slocum ( of "Bombshells" fame).

Are those gun barrels right? I've never noticed them being that long.

Looks absolutely incredible!!!!! Big hand for all involved in the job, outsiders think this sort of effort 'just happens magically'-keep posting as you accomplish major points in the test flights, and lots and lots of air-to-air

What variant is that? I've never seen a cannon-armed -1 Corsair before.

As this Corsair had -5 wings installed in the past, I wanted to use the gun ports and extend the barrells out to make it like a F4U1C.

BTW like the VMF-112 insignia. My cousin WAS KIA flying with 112 :cry:
