As we all know there's been a fair number of odd and plain wrong profiles out there over the years.

Certainly the overall blue scheme as shown by the Kalamazoo Air Zoo Buchon was used by Spanish examples, including in N Africa. (The KAZ example has a number of Battle of Britain film mods still fitted, but is a reasonably accurate recreation of the scheme.)

If Tulio's not heard of a 109 in S America, then it's very obscure.

Cheers,

Mgawa,

Do not take my word as the final say on this. There is always a possibility that something I have not researched, is waiting there to be discovered.

One of my most glaring errors was once saying that no F-6Fs had served in Latin America, when I had seen already the evidence of the Uruguayan Hellcats.

Memory fails, like everything else, and for this reason alone, I would like to leave always a door open . . .
just in case.

Saludos,

Tulio

I have finally realized that all what have been published until '90 have to be taken with great care. Maybe only spot light on this could be Putnam Publications- still great references. And forums are good invention as well people could check out their findings or as me memories on some old publications.

It is for sure very nice to seen some new and spectacular fact but in this case- there is not.

Thank you again gentleman :P
