North Dakota Locator

Wed Jan 30, 2008 8:06 am

I have taken the North Dakota section of the Locator as far as I can, so I turn it over to you...

http://www.aerialvisuals.ca/Locator.php ... TheResults

You will find the “Need Help List” below. It is simply a list of locations for which I need assistance to make the data more complete. The “Need Help List” is a subset of the complete listing which is available via the link above and that subset includes the locations with the big red + signs. If you notice you have any info to contribute when viewing the complete list just click the red or blue + and you will be taken to a form where many of the fields will already be filled out but you can also provide corrections and/or new information. You can also post your contributions here if you would like.

I am looking forward to any assistance you may be able to provide.

Thanks in advance.

Mike

Note: Remember you can right click any of the maps to obtain coordinates of the location clicked. Often the “Need Help List” is asking for more accurate coordinates, so if you can provide those just zoom in and right click on the location to get the coordinates.

Not one person has anything to add about North Dakota?!?!? It seems North Dakota is even more non-populr than Kentucky.

#4361 - Wahpeton, Wahpeton Municipal Airport / Harry Stern Airport - A better map reference is needed. Which hangar at the airport does Tri-State occupy?

It's the first hangar as you enter the airport, located at the north end. Here's the lat, long for the exact location: 46°15'10.40"N, 96°36'33.61"W

When I visited there in August, there was a TBM in the large hangar directly south of the shop. This is also where the B-25 is located and a T-6. However, I didn't see any Corsair there.

Also, in Valley City, ND there is a pole mounted F-104 located right in a park. 46°55'24.56"N, 98° 0'6.21"W I regret now that I didn't stop to take a picture of it.
