I fell for it too, Jack was testing us, an A-26 with A-20 painted on it. Very slick.........................

Jack,
There were two A-26s across the Field at Salem in 1965-66. One was all black. Any photos or identifications of those? Somewhere I have a small (126 camera) color negative of them taken from a distance.

If that one is David's then it is still at Gillespie Field. I did some paint work on it a couple years back. He is not flying it these days. Last I heard is that one of the engines is locked up. They moved it across the field and parked it at the San Diego Aero and Space Museum.

Holly Fletcher bought both those A-26s and Jim Byers flew them up to Troutdale when they were really worked over. Both are still around.
