It is Tues am and believe it or not there is actually some blue sky overhead. I thought they might ask big Al to return that Noble Prize. Ain't been no warming around this part of the globe.!
If the weather holds tomorrow I might actually get to fly the Spitfire back home from Longmont to Aspen.Only problem is that it is really cold over on the front range.

Cockpit heat? That's for softies.. This is a green machine, it has solar heating. If the sun is out there is heat. Actually, other than freezing, my big worry is not just that I might not remember how to fly. It has been so long since I have seen the sun that I am worried that I may not know which direction up is. But the Merlin knows.

Sunday we had some very nice skies here in Denver (KAPA).

Monday was nasty...
I guess the mountains haven't seen sun for quite some time.
Still that makes for great skiing! Have a good trip back Bill.

We took the Hawker into Longmont last year to pick up some Pax's. We only had to circle in the pattern 3 times to get in. Its hard to blend in with the C-150's.
