Kenny, Rob's been getting tutoring from his little Russian friend   again!

Here are some answers to some of your questions:

BLR,

As far as I know David had nothing to do with any of the CT-133 the only person I'm aware of is Dan McQue in NH.

AirJim,

Our you sure about the second A-24 I have the list of all A-24/SBD and I double check it with Larry Webster and the only A-24/SBD he had our the two I listed, unless you know of a mystery one. As for the Hurricanes do you know which ones all of David's list and my own research with a few UK folks only indicate the one I have listed, If you know of two other please post the Id or type so I can add to the list. As for the L-5 yea I thought I might have missed the L-5 along with maybe a L-4 and L-1 but as I said this is a list still in work.

rwdfresno

I didn't put Doc nor Swamp Ghost on the list due to the fact of ownership dispute and I really rather not get into the discussion since I really have no control over those subjects. I hope everyone understands that.

valdez25

Hey valdez could you post a recent photo of her.

JohnH

John thanks, as for the nose section I think this might have been one from PNG David recover 1 nose section from Tadjia it was sitting near the main pile of P-40s. Since you were at David's Memorial is it possible that you could post any photos you might have taken also who did end up going I couldn't get the time off from work. Was there any fly-bys and if so who and what.

warbird1

warbird1, go ahead and post the pics I have all 7 of them on the Jet list but it would be interested to see what they look like before they got the The Navy paint on them.

Am I missing something? I can't see a Hurricane in the list at all.

Is this a list of what he owned over the years or what his inventory was as of late? This is not a collection but a friggin' air force!

If this is current, wow!

That's all cool but what does he have NOW! Why the inventory? Is the estate going to have an auction?

BDK took care of the L-5. I would not be surprised if there were futher L-5s he owned over the years. I know he at one point had quite a collection of parts.

Tallichet owns the Hurricane now at Pima and was somehow connected to the Hurricane at the USAFM. I'm not sure if he owned it for a short while, or if he was involved in the trade that got it to the USAFM.

As for the SBDs. He owned three over the years. One is the SBD BuNo. 10715 that came up from Lake Michigan. It was at MAPS with the other two for a short time and then went back to Chino. It has fallen off the radar since. The other two were the two A-24 wind machine at MAPS. 42-54654 is now at Pima and the unknown bird at Midway. Somewhere along the line either the IDs were swapped or someone got confused as Midway claims they have 54654 as is incorrectly reported in the Registry. We found the id on the Pima bird, but never were able to track down the ID on the more complete airplane.

RE: The CT-133s. I heard Tallichet had connections with the Air Capitol Warbirds CT-133s at Kitchener. I don't know if he was involved in that venture or if he bought them after they didn't get the CAF contract or what. No hard facts though.

Jim

David was also a partner in the resurrection of some of the A-4Ls.

I have never heard of David recovering a Marauder nose from the PNG. The two noses were from the Pacific Pallisades, Martha Peterson, who's husband wanted to put them together to make a motor home. The other nose was from the MGM movie lot. I will get up those fly by photos as soon as possible. I'm terrible getting pics together these days.
