I remember the PBY that was in the farmer's field down by the South Gate of the base. I have the newspaper picture somewhere when they came and got it. I believe that Gary Larkins was the one who hauled it out. If I can find the picture, I will post it. :)

First time posting picture, hope it works.

This is the PBY in the farmer field before it was removed. It was by the South gate of the Coast Guard Station.

This picture was in the local paper (Elizabeth City, NC) dated 7/13/86.

The picture that started this thread is not Edenton MCAS.

Sorry guys, but talking to some of the old timers @ Edenton, That is not a picture from EDE MCAS.
